Why settle for bare bones
When you were made for flesh + blood
And warmth
And tears of oceans?
Let the waves carry you out
While the music burns the wings of your soul
Towards what it is you really wanted
Unwrap the barbed wire coils around Desire
This place is Home.
The place you once knew
Is a hearth burning and waiting for your arrival
For you to dance naked under the moon and the stars outside
On your doorstep.
You will return, full
When you feast on that which you love
Anything less is starvation,
Your bones knocking together even amongst the fullness of your glass and your thighs
Gorging on all they gave you
When the song of the sea + the calling of the conch
Want you to let the rising of the tide be the rising of magnificent you
Hear nothing but the roar of your swell
Into fullness
Full-you.
